International Mother Language Day 2022

Every year UNESCO Cities of Literature across the world come together to celebrate UNESCO International Mother Language Day 2022.

As part of the celebrations, Exeter Library hosted the Institute of Cornish Studies and the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Exeter, in collaboration with Exeter City of Literature, with a variety of events on Cornish Language and Culture.

Also at the University of Exeter, Creative Writing graduate Hu Na organised an event celebrating multilingual and multicultural societies through literature, featuring Jane Rayner and Dave Norman.
