Ever tried selling a cow to a crow? Be carried off in your imagination as David draws wonderful world treasures from RAMM’s bottomless basket and tells you the extraordinary folk tales shared by storytellers in Gaza, Korea, Cameroon and beyond, all inspired by these same mystery wonders.

Storyteller David Heathfield spends his life in pursuit of wonderful tales, learned from generous story sharers all over the World. He’s the author of the book Storytelling with our Students and the chapters ‘Storytelling for a Better World’ and ‘Storytelling for Diverse Voices’ (British Council).

Accessibility Statement: Disabled Access. The Arts Centre has level access to Studio 1, where music, theatre, talks, films and other live performances take place. We also have a level access adapted toilet for use by visitors. There are two steps up to Studio 2, where art classes and meetings are held.

Parking: The Arts Centre has limited parking, and our car park is shared with the neighbouring nursery, which makes it particularly challenging between 9am and 6pm on weekdays. If there is no parking available at the Arts Centre there is street parking nearby, particularly in the evenings, and a number of car parks in the town. If you need parking for mobility and access reasons, please contact the Arts Centre before your visit.
