Beyond Face Summer Writing Workshops: Character and World Building

Looking to add nuance and complexity to your characters? Want to create stimulating, detailed worlds to place them in?

Led by the Beyond Face team, you will explore exercises to create and write layered and surprising characters and find new ways to access worlds in this 2 hour in-person writing workshop focused on writing for stage. Suitable for all levels.

Please note: This workshop is a space for those who identify as global majority*.

*Global Majority includes people who are from African and Caribbean diasporas, people who are South Asian, East Asian, South East Asian, North African, Middle Eastern, and ethnically mixed heritages.

Beyond Face is a South West based Theatre Company. Our mission is to be at the forefront of providing opportunities for artists of the Global Majority to live, work and thrive in the South West theatre sector. We aim to reframe the narrative around what is perceived as quality and to bring focus to the region.
