The Books and Biscuits Secret Reading Club

  • St Luke's Campus Exeter, England, EX1 2LR United Kingdom (map)

Monday 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th June (4:15pm – 5:30pm)

Come and join us for another term of "The Books and Biscuits Secret Reading Club"! We welcome book club members old and new.

This will be a relaxing and happy time after your school day; a time to stretch your imagination; a time to travel to distant lands and fantastical places in the company of other avid readers. This term we will be based (weather permitting) in a beautiful walled garden on the St Lukes Campus.  There will be biscuits to eat, blankets to lie on and a big lawn to stretch out and read on and hopefully sunshine to keep us warm!

This after school club is a place to meet other people who love books as much as you do. Arrive at 4.15pm for juice and a biscuit and then we will embark on some wonderful book adventures together.

Cost: £45 for 5 sessions - includes a copy of the book

Free places will be allocated for eligible pupils, this includes those on free school meals and lower income families. Please contact us by e-mail if you think your child is eligible at enrichment@exeter.ac.uk or phone 01392 724816.

Accessibility Statement: St Luke’s Campus is located in the heart of St.Leonard's, 15 minutes on foot from the city centre and just over a mile away from the Streatham Campus.

The Registration Point takes place in Baring Court, which is on the ground floor and accessed via electronic double doors. This space can be easily accessed by wheelchairs. There is parking on-site and ground floor toilet facilities.

The Book Club will take place (weather permitting) outdoors on picnic blankets in a walled garden. This is accessible via a ramp, and a brick path. Should you require course materials to be prepared in an alternative format (e.g. larger font size) please contact us at enrichment@exeter.ac.uk so that we can prepare this in advance.
