Join experienced teacher, Leah Hardy, as she takes on a creative writing adventure!

We will read poetry and prose written by some of the best children’s writers of all time – both classic and contemporary. We will look at the unique qualities that make different animal heroes. We will learn and perform poetry about animals by heart and write our own poems. We will look at different genres of writing -funny tales and sad stories. We’ll learn about personification and different narrative techniques. We will create settings, heroes and antagonists.

This course is designed for children with a keen interest in story writing. If you love poetry, being creative and using drama to make a story come alive then this course is for you.
