Enchantment: Reawakening Wonder in an Exhausted Age with Katherine May

  • Seven Fables 7 High Street Dulverton, England, TA22 9HB United Kingdom (map)

Seven Fables is delighted that Katherine May is returning to Seven Fables this June.

In keeping with the spirit of her most recent book, Enchantment, guests are invited to venture into the woods to hear her in conversation on one of the most enchanting evenings of the year, Midsummer, Saturday 24th June.

Davina Jelley, of Seven Fables, first met Katherine in Whitstable at her launch for Wintering on a suitably cold, blustery February night. Since then, Wintering: The Power of Rest and Retreat in Difficult Times, has gone on to be an international bestseller, topping the New York Times, Sunday Times, and Der Spiegel bestseller lists, and was adapted as BBC Radio 4’s Book of the Week

The walk departs from Seven Fables at 6pm, where the group will return by dusk at 9.30pm. The ticket price includes a colourful vegetarian picnic supper supplied by The Exmoor Feasting Company.

Copies of Enchantment are available to order from Seven Fables prior to the event, and there will be an opportunity to have your copy signed while in the woods, weather permitting.

Seven Fables kindly request that you dress accordingly, walking boots are recommended, and be prepared for summer rain!

Cost: £25
