Festive Punch - by Spork! and Truth & Dare

  • The Lamb Inn Sandford Crediton, England, EX17 4LW United Kingdom (map)

We're unleashing the prodigious, irreverent and downright silly splendour of Chris White, Julie Mullen and Edward Tripp in a festive mash up between Spork! and truth & dare at the Lamb Inn at Sandford.

Julie Mullen is a Liverpool performance poet. She took her debut poetry book “Erotic Poetry For Vegans & Vegetarians” to the Edinburgh Fringe where it was described by Brian Patten as, “does for sprouts what Wordsworth did for daffodils”, and received **** from The Scotsman. She has performed at The Groucho Club London, The Chelsea Arts Club and Soho House Members Club and been published by The EMMA Press and PLAY.

Edward Tripp is a slam-winning stand-up poet and visual artist who lives in Devon. Once described as a cross between Dave Allen and David Lynch, Tripp squashes the sincere with the surreal, making work that’s funny, deeply strange and often a little depraved. He was also recently appointed Bard of Exeter, though he doesn’t really like to talk about that.

Chris White is a poet, performer & submerging artist based in Exeter who frequently brings his work to theatres, festivals and spoken-word nights, from Tongue Fu to Latitude. A winner of the Pleasance Partnership Award 2021, Chris has created a number of full-length theatre shows including Moist, Moist, Moist. He's a former Bard of Exeter, the first "Riddler in Residence" at Exeter Cathedral, and the host and founder of Spork! Poetry CIC. In his silly, surreal way he often talks about queerness, identity & ducks.
