An evening of mediæval and Jacobean murder, conspiracy and intrigue, with Devon-based writers Michael Jecks (The Last Templar series) and K. J. Maitland (the Daniel Pursglove series).

Michael Jecks is the author of more than thirty novels in the Knights Templar medieval mystery series, and four previous Bloody Mary Tudor mysteries. A former Chairman of the Crime Writers’ Association, he lives with his wife, children and dogs in northern Dartmoor.

 

Karen Maitland is an historical novelist, lecturer and teacher of Creative Writing, with over twenty books to her name. She grew up in Malta, which inspired her passion for history, and travelled and worked all over the world before settling in the United Kingdom. She has a doctorate in psycholinguistics, and now lives on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon.


Accessibility Statement: Disability parking spaces are available in the lay-by in front of the shop. Ivybridge as a town is fairly flat with no steps, and quite easy to get around.

The shop is on the ground floor with the entrance at pavement level on Fore Street. The shop is set out with wide aisles, and is mobility scooter, wheelchair, pram, pushchair and dog-friendly. Seating is also available, for adults and little animal stools for children.
