MUSIC
Luna Gray (21:30-22:30)
Emerging in 2021, Luna Gray are an alternative rock band hailing from Exeter. Pulling from influences such as Tigers Jaw, The Menzingers, Fleetwood Mac, Wolf Alice and more, the band are currently taking their time crafting their first studio EP following the release of debut singles 'Kitten' and 'Steady'.
The four piece have received radio play on BBC Introducing, graced stages and festivals across the South West and are slowly building a name for themselves as the region’s best-kept secret, having shared festival stages with the likes of Seasick Steve and Kula Shaker, headline shows with Wired Design and more since the band's inception.
Nierra Creek (20:00-21:00)
Generating from the south of England, Nierra Creek are Somerset songwriter Ryan Deag and Swiss producer Sebastian Müller. The pair became friends during a last minute scrounge for housing in Brighton. Both share a love for James Blake, Hip Hop, soundscapes and unexpected noise which is the backbone to their sound.
2022 saw Nierra Creek perform at Boardmasters Festival (championed by Daniel Pascoe and Sarah "Gozzo" from BBCIntroducing) and Switzerland's Out In The Green Garden Festival. Along with several SOFAR sounds intimate shows. The band have also toured the UK with Communion's MarthaGunn and are ready to hit the road again in 2023.
Taking sonic influence from indie folk artists Bon Iver to LOW, to production heavy artists Jim-E Stack and Oneohtrix Point Never, Nierra Creek are forging their own unique sound which transcends genre.
