Litcraft Workshop @ Tavistock

  • Tavistock Library Plymouth Road Tavistock, England, PL19 8AB United Kingdom (map)

Discover the magic of reading with just a little help from Minecraft!

Join us for a two-part journey of discovery and some shipshape challenges within the world of Michael Morpurgo's award-winning children's book, Kensuke's Kingdom. Read a bit of a book, then create the world on Minecraft via a series of unique custom worlds and specially created Minecraft activities.

The two sessions are complementary - you are required to book onto both - meaning that you'll get the most out of the experience!

The sessions will take place on the following dates:
Friday 26th August, 10am-12pm
Tuesday 30th August, 10am-12pm

Cost: Free

To book your place, please contact the library directly by calling 01822 612 218 or by e-mailing tavistock.library@librariesunlimited.org.uk.

Litcraft is more than just a workshop, it’s a movement! Young people around the country are discovering their new favourite books and a love for reading through these innovative sessions. Aimed at ages 8-12.
