Introducing ‘Lines’, Issue 4 from The Lit, exploring how stories can move beyond the page to transport us. In this issue we look at language as a journey, how it can transcend border lines and where it finds creatives living at the end of the line. We also think about breaking the boundaries of traditional creativity, exploring the fluidity between different art forms.
Join us to celebrate the launch of our new issue at Exeter Phoenix on the 10th of May from 7pm to 10pm. Welcome drinks included!
This event is hosted by The Lit Platform, a creative incubator and publisher based in Exeter and Falmouth.
The event will be a multidisciplinary, interactive experience – as well as live readings from our contributors, there will be prints from photo essays on display to admire, a podcast to lend your ears to, and zines to flick through.
Our Latrinalia zine presents an opportunity for you to contribute to The Lit by scribbling your own bathroom graffiti on the cover. There will also be mind-bending lines-inspired AR filters to play around with!
Cost: The event is Pay What You Can, with The Lit offering to cover transport costs for creatives from underrepresented backgrounds who are looking for networking opportunities. If you’re a creative wanting to enquire about transport, please email Hazel at editorial@theliteraryplatform.com.
