Spork! Presents: Liv Torc Poetry for Wellbeing

  • Workshop Room, Exeter Phoenix Gandy Street Exeter, England, EX4 United Kingdom (map)

Celebrated poet, performer & facilitator Liv Torc is coming to Exeter, with her new show 'Haiflu Ever After' plus an exclusive workshop on poetry and wellbeing.

Using poetry, creative writing and joyful expression we’ll explore themes of wellbeing in a post pandemic world, taking inspiration from Liv’s global Haiflu project, which uses haiku, photography and music to tell the social history of lockdown. Together we’ll tell our stories using haiku and group poetry, which will become part of the ever-growing online Haiflu archive.

All human-beings welcome. No preparation or experience needed. All you need is a willingness to have a go.

Liv is an experienced workshop facilitator who has been lead artist on Take Art’s social prescribing project Word/Play for nearly ten years, supporting hundreds of adults to achieve better mental health through accessing their creativity and poetic voice. Liv has also run large scale participation projects engaging thousands of people from all over the world to use poetry in telling their stories.

Cost: £10, or free if you also book a ticket for Haiflu Ever After.

Discount is automatically applied at checkout if you book for both. For any questions about the workshop or access needs, please email Spork! at sporkpoetry@gmail.com
