Some words from Jojo Spinks: “Hi, I’m Jojo Spinks and my family was one of those who moved from the West Quarter to Burnthouse Lane in the 1930s. (My dear nan is in the photo, taken on the roof of Folletts!). These days, I help communities find creative ways to celebrate their places and their heritage. Come and join me for a series of West Quarter heritage sessions designed to bring the writer out in you. I know you’ve got the stories, why not let me help you shape the words? These are the stories of Exeter – they’re important – Let’s tell them together.”

Accessibility Statement: This course will take place at Exeter Custom House. The event will be hosted in the historic rooms on the first floor of the building. There is step-free entry to the ground floor and a lift connects the ground and first floors. If you have particular access requirements please let us know by email after booking. We have a budget for accessibility at Quay Words and will do our best to accommodate your needs, please email customhouse@literatureworks.org.uk to discuss.
