Accessibility Statement: Level access: from the Central Library on Castle Street, then via a ramped entrance from the car park. There is a steep slope from the street leading up to the main entrance and a flight of steps to the front door. If you have mobility difficulties and are arriving by taxi it is advisable to get dropped off at the side ramp, left of the main entrance.
Although the venue has no onsite parking there is a dedicated blue badge space which can be booked via our Box Office, who can also advise on alternative nearby parking or drop off points.
All staff have a responsibility towards access in the day to day running of the building. Members of Staff are provided with basic training in disability awareness and etiquette and are on hand to assist visitors with queries regarding access and facilities. All staff contact details are clear on our website (accompanied by our pictures) so that visitors can contact us directly.
There is an accessible lift giving access to all floors. We have level access to two accessible toilets on the ground floor (rear lobby and digital suit) and one on the first floor (first floor rear lobby). We welcome breast feeding mums and also have two baby change units, with level access.
Guide / Hearing Dogs are welcome, and we can arrange an adjacent seat so that they accompany the visitor. We offer free companion tickets to visitors who cannot attend or prefer to attend with someone to assist them.
