Rhia & The Tree of Lights

  • Exeter Phoenix Gandy Street Exeter EX4 3LA United Kingdom (map)

This December, South West-based Quirk Theatre bring their lively and inventive theatrical family show, Rhia & The Tree of Lights, to Exeter Phoenix. Co-written by SW writer & spoken word artist Charice Bhardwaj, Katie Villa & Simon Hall, Rhia is a magical alternative to panto and a festive treat for the whole family!

Rhia’s favourite thing ever was hanging out with Grandma at the wild Jurassic Coast – playing games on the beach, finding funny creatures, and telling stories in her magical treehouse. So it all feels really weird now that Grandma’s gone.

But as Rhia prepares for Diwali, she discovers a mysterious riddle in a dusty case, setting Rhia and her friends off on a thrilling adventure to find something that’s been missing for a (very) long time…

Featuring vibrant original music, ancient Indian tales, and Quirk’s trademark sense of the ridiculous. A heartwarming show for all ages, celebrating friendship, nature, and the place we call home.

Quirk are partnering with Jurassic Coast Trust to offer hands-on fossil experiences after selected shows. Check Exeter Phoenix website in December for more details.
