Poets, writers, performers & potential riddlers! You’re invited to a creative writing workshop, led by Riddler in Residence Chris White!
A 2-hour session exploring spoken-word, sound, metaphor, and poetry. Through fun and creative exercises, such as soundscapes and speed dates, you’ll learn new techniques, write a riddle of your own, and have the chance to perform your work with the chance to receive professional feedback.
Participants will also have the chance to perform their work on Monday 21st March as part of 'I Wonder… at Exeter Cathedral'; a showcase of the Riddler Residency, featuring a performance from Chris White, live music, and an open-mic opportunity.
Cost: This is a free workshop open to writers of any ability aged 16-25. This workshop will take place in the historic Chapter House.
Accessibility Statement: The Chapter House is accessible from the Cloisters, with ramps in place to give access into the building. There is a T-Loop system in place for the deaf. Wheelchairs are available for visitors to use if required (these can be pre-booked via the Cathedral Office), and there are also disabled toilet facilities available, with level access. There is limited parking at the Cathedral, but it is always possible to drop visitors off by the main entrance before using other car parks in the city centre. BSL will not be available for this event.
