Writing, Voice and Movement with Susmita Bhattacharya

  • Conference Room 2, University of Exeter XFi Centre Rennes Drive Exeter, England, EX4 4ST United Kingdom (map)

Working through a series of writing exercises, writer, tutor and mentor Susmita Bhattacharya will host a two-hour-long workshop playing with voice and movement.

Susmita, whose short story 'Curtain Call for Charlie Tate' has recently been published in Riptide 15, will demonstrate how voice makes your stories more dynamic, and assist you in finding your voice, both within the story and through developing performance practice.

This workshop is open to University of Exeter students and provides an excellent opportunity for all aspiring writers, regardless of experience, to share ideas and build your writing craft.

Head along to the XFi Building Conference Room 2 on Thursday 23 March at 3:00pm to find out how to make your short stories go one step further!

About Riptide 15

Riptide publishes new short stories with an undercurrent by established and emerging writers, including new voices in every issue. This volume takes 'Breath' as its theme.
