Independent Bookshop Week Special: Sheena Patel

  • Bookbag Fore Street Exeter, England, EX4 3AN United Kingdom (map)

We're really excited to be hosting an in-conversation with Sheena Patel celebrating the launch of her debut novel, I'm A Fan.

I'm A Fan is a singular narrative take on a relationship and the behaviours of those involved, tackling the darkness and joy, and a fierce critique of our social media and status obsessed culture.

Sheena is a writer and film maker who also writes and performs poetry as part of collective 4 BROWN GIRLS WHO WRITE, and The Observer cited her one of their top 10 debut novelists of 2022.

It’s published on Rough Trade Books who are always contemporary, fresh and popular at Bookbag.

Exeter City of Literature are supporting this event as part of Independent Bookshop Week.

Tickets are free, just RSVP, and you can pre order Sheena's book with us.

Cost: Free
