The Devon Voice Group in partnership with St Sidwell’s Community Centre present a celebration of St Sidwella, Exeter’s patron saint!
On Saturday 30 July at St Sidwell’s Community Centre, 3-6pm, join in the celebration of Exeter’s patron saint, the City’s heritage, and Devonian culture.
With guest speakers, food, dialect readings and music. A thoroughly Devonian event with expert speakers, food, dialect readings and music from the amazing Jim Causley!
Speakers include historian Todd Gray, former Lord Mayor Olwen Foggin, folklore expert Mark Norman, food historian Paul Cleave, and Devonian dialect and folk music expert, Bill Murray.
Exeter has never seen anything quite like it!

Exeter UNESCO City of Literature is proud to have commissioned two local poets to write and perform a poem each, in response to celebrating Exeter or Devon, as part of the day’s celebrations!
Cost: Entry is FREE but pay-it-forward donation is encouraged. There will be a charge for food & drink.
