Seasoned storyteller and inspirational coach Katy Cawkwell is coming to the Priory with a group of local storytellers who have been attending her Dream Festival workshops. They will lead you through the building and bring the different spaces alive with their stories!
This is the fifth Story Blaze event organised and hosted by professional storyteller Katy Cawkwell. The performers are all people who have attended Katy’s ongoing storytelling workshops – some have years of experience, some will be telling their first story in public!

“I was thrilled to be a part of the Story Blaze event. I’m relatively new to storytelling but Katy did her absolute best to ensure we were supported from start to finish. She gave useful tips and plenty of rehearsal time, she created a really calm, inviting mood on the night and even encouraged us to reflect together as storytellers after the event. Now, I feel like I have been welcomed into a new local creative community, it has been a very motivating project for me creatively and I am excited to continue with more storytelling in the future. A joyful thing to be a part of in these strange dark times.”

Accessibility Statement: The performance will take place throughout the whole building and unfortunately, the upper floors are not currently accessible for wheelchair users. You are welcome to attend the half of the performance taking place on the lower floor. Disabled toilets available.
