The Bookery is delighted to be once again hosting one of the UK’s best-loved authors, master storyteller Sir Michael Morpurgo, at Crediton’s Congregational Church this December.
Cost: £5
The Bookery patron Michael Morpurgo has written over 130 books, including The Butterfly Lion, Kensuke’s Kingdom, Private Peaceful and War Horse, which was adapted for a hugely successful stage production by the National Theatre and then, in 2011, for a film directed by Steven Spielberg.
This Christmas he has five new books published: Carnival Of The Animals, When Fishes Flew, a retelling of The Snowman, and stunning new gift editions of The Butterfly Lion and Clare And Her Captain.
Signed copies can be pre-ordered for collection at the event.
Accessibility Statement: Crediton Congregational Church has a low platform at one end, lots of floor space (with flexible seating) and a balcony around three sides of the upper floor. The meeting space is fully accessible, with ramp access for those who don't wish to use the steps out front.
