World Goedam Collection

Bucheon UNESCO City of Literature & Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival

Bucheon UNESCO City of Literature has been collaborating with BIFAN since 2020 in order to push forward their “Goedam Campus” project, which involves gathering stories centered on the genre of “goedam” (strange and scary tales), as well as providing support for the creation and production of such stories. Through this, they aim to create a “goedam ecosystem” that nurtures rising talents and encourages a virtuous cycle of films and content. In a special project this year, they have worked together to publish the World Goedam Collection, which is a collection of stories from 10 other UNESCO Creative Cities of Literature. — Mayor of Bucheon City, Jo Yong-ik
