Celebrate World Book Day with Positive Light Project and Exeter City of Literature!
A range of book-inspired workshops, part of Positive Light’s Positive Nights taster workshop sessions. Choose from:
Bookbinding with Rosie Stiling - Learn how to stitch and create your own sketchbook using Japanese stab binding techniques. All materials and specialist tools will be provided to make your own book to take away with you.
Book Cover Linocuts with George - Design and linocut an alternative book cover for your favourite book! George will show you how to carve out beautiful graphic shapes in lino and print them. All materials included and you can take your linocut away with you.
BYOBook Room - Bring your own book and take time to sit and read, or chat books with a drink!
(Due to illness the Poetry Workshop with Daniel Paul Marshall has been postponed until 24th March)
Cost: Bookbinding and Linocutting are £25 each and include a drink from Ebdons. The poetry workshop is free or by donation. If the cost is prohibitive to you, email hello@exetercityofliterature.com. If there are still tickets available, we will ensure you have a spot.
