Ship Inn Storytelling - The Old Wyvern

  • The Ship Inn 1-3 Martins Lane Exeter, England, EX6 8NU United Kingdom (map)

A performance of tales and myths to the backdrop of the fantastic Ship Inn

The Ship is a glorious pub in the centre of Exeter and its history goes hand in hand with Sir Francis Drake.

Come visit us upstairs in this glorious Tudor building to hear tales of the mighty Drake, his history, his sorcery, his dealing with witches and devils.

As well as a smorgasbord of local legends and humorous myths.

Cost: There is a suggested payment of £2 for attendance, but any penny in a tankard is gratefully received.

Accessibility Statement: Sadly, this event is held on the second floor of a listed building so there are steps and no wheelchair access. BSL: Though I have a smattering, the BSL I have would not be suitable to keep up with the stories and currently we lack a translator.
