Spork! presents: John Hegley

  • Exeter Phoenix Gandy Street Exeter, England, EX4 United Kingdom (map)

Spork! presents an evening with spoken-word legend John Hegley, and his new show, The Further Adventures of Monsieur Robinet.

Monsieur Robinet has a hat and a dog called Chirac. Every year he buys Chirac a new kennel and buries the old one in the garden. Chirac is told that it is good to have a strong sense of where you come from.

Celebrated comic and poet John Hegley sings, sketches and rhymes in a funny and whimsical show, celebrating his father’s French heritage, delving into his mother’s Kentish origins and exploring the problem of his brother-in-law.

Cost: £10
